Greetings, neighbors,

I'm Murad "Moe" Sarama, and I would be honored to earn your vote for the San Juan Unified Board of Education. As the parent of a current San Juan student, and another future San Juan student not yet school age, my family has called Citrus Heights home for more than 25 years because we believe in our schools and community. Our three daughters also benefited from San Juan schools and are now pursuing college degrees.

I earned my bachelor's degree from California State University, Sacramento, and a Master's in Public Administration. I previously served on the San Juan Unified Facilities Committee following my appointment by the late Trustee Steve Miller and have remained active serving our schools and community.

Our students deserve safe, modern schools, strong academic achievement, responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars, and a trustee who is visible, accessible, and engaged. I will work to improve school facilities, strengthen parent partnerships, support our educators, and ensure every child succeeds.

Today's students are tomorrow's leaders. Together, we can build stronger schools and brighter futures for every family in our district.
